Another great soul has passed away. It's been reported that legendary musician was found dead at his home in Memphis today. The composer most known for the theme from Shaft and as the voice of Chef on Comedy Central's animated show South Park is no stranger to hip-hop: his work has been sampled many times over the years. N*E*R*D* <=> Nobody Ever Really Dies
N*E*R*D* <=> (Pharrell Williams of The Neptunes) + (Chad Hugo of The Neptunes) + Shae Haley
"The Neptunes is what we do, but N*E*R*D* is who we are. It's our life." - Pharrell Williams
Seeing Sounds will mark the third outing for the trio of longtime friends and is set to drop on June 10th. If the press release description fits, the summer is gettin' kicked off on a good note.

What to expect...
The album is a blistering mash-up of booming hip-hop beats and rollercoastering rock riffs, rumbling crunk rhythms and scintillating soul music. Whereas their first album, In Search Of..., was an imaginative, exploration of identities, and their second album, Fly Or Die, sought out the range of genres and sounds that have influenced the group, Seeing Sounds grinds everything together, evoking a sound that is un-tethered by preconceptions and convention.
